About The Laundry Depot Laundromat
The Laundry Depot Laundromat describes itself as a self-serve coin laundry, and it also handles wash, dry and fold work. So if someone you know needs clean clothes in Macon, this is a place you can send them either way.
What The Laundry Depot Laundromat handles
There are two ways to use it. You can run the machines yourself, or you can hand the washing, drying and folding over to the staff. Its tagline pitches it as a neighborhood laundromat for Macon.
The town around it is a sizable one. Macon-Bibb County counted 157,556 residents in 2025, per the Census Bureau, in Bibb County. About 65% of homes there heat with electricity, per the American Community Survey (2024).
When The Laundry Depot Laundromat is open
The doors are open 8 am to 8 pm every day of the week. That makes it an easy tip to pass along to someone who can only get to laundry after work or on a Sunday.
Reviewers also talk about attendants being around to help. That matters for a first-timer who has never used a coin laundry before.
What customers say about The Laundry Depot Laundromat
It holds a 4.3 rating across 126 Google reviews. Most people mention friendly, helpful staff, clean machines and a family feel, and a few say it has been their regular spot for years. On the downside, some describe crowded visits, a machine that acted up, trouble getting through by phone and washers that only take quarters.
So give folks a heads up to bring coins and to expect a busy room at times. For a customer who needs self-serve or wash, dry and fold laundry in Macon any day from 8 am to 8 pm, The Laundry Depot Laundromat fits the bill.

This is one of the best places to dry my clothes, always clean, always helpful, & they fix their own equipment 😀
This might be an older laundromat but the people there are extremely friendly and the price was reasonable. I am a truck driver and stopped in to do two loads of laundry. The machines were clean and worked well. All the machines require quarters unlike some newer laundromats that allow you to use a card. Overall that was fairly clean. It was busy but it wasn’t too bad and I even got a free show one of little squirrel let himself in the back door and ran through the laundromat.
Been going here for years always a great experience
